Juicy Steak + Garlic Butter Shrimp = Heaven on a Plate

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

 • 2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks

 • Salt & black pepper

 • Olive oil

 • 1 tbsp butter

 • Fresh parsley, chopped

For the Shrimp:

 • 10-12 large shrimp (peeled & deveined)

 • 2 tbsp butter

 • 2 garlic cloves, minced

 • ½ tsp paprika

 • Juice of ½ lemon

 • Salt & pepper

For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes:

 • 3 large potatoes, peeled & cubed

 • 3 tbsp butter

 • ½ cup heavy cream

 • 2 garlic cloves, minced

 • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Pan Sauce:

 • Steak drippings

 • ¼ cup beef broth

 • ¼ cup heavy cream

 • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Directions:

 1. Mashed Potatoes: Boil potatoes till fork-tender. Mash with butter, cream, garlic, salt & pepper. Keep warm.

 2. Steak: Season steaks with salt & pepper. Sear in hot skillet with olive oil and butter, 3–4 min per side (or to your liking). Rest the steak.

 3. Shrimp: In same pan, melt butter. Add garlic, paprika, salt & pepper. Toss in shrimp and cook until pink (2–3 mins). Squeeze lemon juice over.

 4. Pan Sauce: Deglaze the skillet with broth. Add cream and mustard. Stir until thick and saucy.

 5. Assemble: Plate mashed potatoes, layer steak slices, drizzle sauce, and top with garlic butter shrimp. Finish with chopped parsley.
