Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

1. Make the Teriyaki Marinade:
In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.

2. Marinate the Salmon:
Place salmon fillets in a dish. Pour half of the marinade over them and let sit for 20–30 minutes.

3. Grill the Pineapple:
While the salmon marinates, heat a grill or skillet with olive oil. Grill pineapple chunks for 2–3 minutes per side until slightly charred.

4. Cook the Salmon:
In the same grill or skillet, cook the marinated salmon for 4–5 minutes per side, brushing with extra marinade as it cooks until caramelized and cooked through.

5. Final Touch:
Top salmon with grilled pineapple, drizzle remaining sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro.
