Char-Grilled Strip Steak Frites with Aioli & Herb Butter π½π₯©π
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
β’ 1 New York strip steak (1.5 in thick)
β’ Olive oil
β’ Salt & black pepper
β’ Butter for basting
For the Fries:
β’ 2β3 russet potatoes (cut into fries)
β’ Vegetable oil (for frying)
β’ Salt to taste
For the Dips:
β’ Garlic Aioli: 1/4 cup mayo, 1 garlic clove (minced), 1 tsp lemon juice, pinch of salt
β’ Herb Butter: 2 tbsp butter, 1 tsp chopped parsley, 1/2 tsp shallot, dash of lemon zest

Instructions:
1. Make the Fries: Rinse cut potatoes, pat dry. Fry at 325Β°F until soft, then again at 375Β°F until golden. Salt immediately.
2. Grill the Steak: Rub steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill 3β4 mins per side for medium-rare. Add butter for basting during final minute. Rest before slicing.
3. Mix Dips: Stir aioli ingredients together. For herb butter, mash everything together and chill slightly.
4. Serve It Up: Plate sliced steak with golden fries, and serve both dips on the side.
