Classic Steak Frites with Creamy Herb Sauce π₯©ππΏ
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
β’ 1 ribeye or sirloin steak
β’ Salt & pepper
β’ 1 tbsp olive oil
β’ 1 tbsp butter
For the Creamy Herb Sauce:
β’ 1/2 cup heavy cream
β’ 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
β’ 1 tsp garlic (minced)
β’ 1 tbsp parsley (finely chopped)
β’ Salt & pepper to taste
β’ Optional: splash of white wine or lemon juice for zing
For the Fries:
β’ Frozen or fresh-cut fries
β’ Vegetable oil (for frying)
β’ Salt to taste

Instructions:
1. Cook the Fries: Fry or bake your fries until golden and crispy. Season with salt.
2. Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a pan. Season steak with salt & pepper. Sear 2β3 mins per side until crusty and cooked to preferred doneness. Rest before slicing.
3. Make the Sauce:
β’ In a small pan, simmer cream, garlic, and Dijon for 3β4 mins.
β’ Stir in chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and optional wine/lemon. Simmer until slightly thickened.
4. Serve It Up: Plate the steak with fries, drizzle that luscious sauce all over the steak, and dig in!
