Classic Surf & Turf with Herb Butter Sauce 🧈🥩🦐

Ingredients:

 • 1 thick-cut ribeye or filet mignon steak

 • 6–8 jumbo shrimp (peeled & deveined)

 • 2 tbsp olive oil

 • 2 tbsp butter

 • Salt & freshly cracked pepper

 • Fresh parsley (chopped)

 • Red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Butter Dipping Sauce:

 • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

 • 1 garlic clove (minced)

 • 1 tsp lemon juice

 • Chopped parsley

 • Pinch of chili flakes

 • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

 1. Sear the Steak:

 • Season steak with salt and pepper.

 • Sear in a hot skillet with olive oil, 3–4 min per side.

 • Add butter and baste until desired doneness. Rest steak.

 2. Cook the Shrimp:

 • In the same skillet, sauté shrimp 2–3 min until pink and opaque.

 • Sprinkle chopped parsley and a touch of chili flakes.

 3. Make the Butter Sauce:

 • In a small saucepan, melt butter.

 • Add garlic, lemon juice, parsley, and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

 4. Serve:

 • Plate the steak and shrimp side by side.

 • Serve with the warm dipping butter in a small bowl.
