Garlic Butter Surf & Turf with Asparagus 🥩🦐🌿🍽️

An elegant, flavor-packed dinner with steak, shrimp, and greens bathed in rich garlic herb butter!

Ingredients (Serves 2):

For the Steak:

 • 2 filet mignon or sirloin steaks

 • Salt & black pepper

 • 1 tbsp olive oil

 • 1 tbsp butter

For the Shrimp:

 • 10–12 large shrimp, peeled & deveined

 • 1 tbsp olive oil

 • 2 garlic cloves, minced

 • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

 • Juice of 1/2 lemon

 • Salt & pepper

For the Asparagus:

 • 1 bunch asparagus

 • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

 • Salt & pepper

For Garlic Herb Butter:

 • 3 tbsp butter

 • 2 garlic cloves, minced

 • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

 • Pinch of chili flakes (optional)

Instructions:

1. Sear the Steak:

 • Season steaks with salt and pepper.

 • Sear in olive oil over high heat, 3–4 mins per side.

 • Add butter and baste steaks, then let rest before slicing.

2. Cook the Shrimp:

 • Sauté shrimp in olive oil and garlic until pink and cooked (2–3 mins).

 • Add lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.

3. Roast or Sauté Asparagus:

 • Trim ends, then cook in butter or olive oil until tender-crisp (about 4–5 mins).

 • Season with salt and pepper.

4. Make Garlic Herb Butter:

 • Melt butter, then stir in garlic, parsley, and chili flakes.

5. Plate It:

 • Slice steak and arrange on the plate with shrimp and asparagus.

 • Drizzle everything generously with garlic herb butter.
