Sliced Steak with Garlic Herb Butter Sauce & Green Beans

Ingredients:
For the Steak:
• 2 sirloin or strip steaks
• Salt & black pepper
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp butter
• 2 garlic cloves (minced)
• Fresh parsley and chives (chopped)
For the Sauce:
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 shallot or 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
• 1/4 cup beef broth or red wine
• 1 tsp balsamic vinegar or Worcestershire (optional)
• Chopped fresh herbs
For the Side:
• Steamed or sautéed green beans
• Salt & pepper
• Olive oil or butter

Instructions:
1. Cook the Steak:
• Season steaks generously with salt & pepper.
• Sear in hot pan with oil for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare).
• Add butter, garlic, and herbs; baste until fragrant. Let rest before slicing.
2. Make the Pan Sauce:
• In the same pan, add a little butter and chopped garlic/shallots.
• Pour in broth or wine, simmer until reduced.
• Stir in fresh herbs and optional vinegar/Worcestershire.
3. Cook the Green Beans:
• Blanch or sauté green beans until tender-crisp.
• Season with salt, pepper, and a bit of butter or olive oil.
