Sliced Steak with Garlic Herb Butter Sauce & Green Beans

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

ʉۢ 2 sirloin or strip steaks

ʉۢ Salt & black pepper

ʉۢ 1 tbsp olive oil

ʉۢ 1 tbsp butter

ʉۢ 2 garlic cloves (minced)

ʉۢ Fresh parsley and chives (chopped)

For the Sauce:

ʉۢ 1 tbsp butter

ʉۢ 1 shallot or 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)

ʉۢ 1/4 cup beef broth or red wine

ʉۢ 1 tsp balsamic vinegar or Worcestershire (optional)

ʉۢ Chopped fresh herbs

For the Side:

ʉۢ Steamed or saut̩ed green beans

ʉۢ Salt & pepper

ʉۢ Olive oil or butter

Instructions:

 1. Cook the Steak:

ʉۢ Season steaks generously with salt & pepper.

 â€¢ Sear in hot pan with oil for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare).

ʉۢ Add butter, garlic, and herbs; baste until fragrant. Let rest before slicing.

 2. Make the Pan Sauce:

ʉۢ In the same pan, add a little butter and chopped garlic/shallots.

ʉۢ Pour in broth or wine, simmer until reduced.

ʉۢ Stir in fresh herbs and optional vinegar/Worcestershire.

 3. Cook the Green Beans:

ʉۢ Blanch or saut̩ green beans until tender-crisp.

ʉۢ Season with salt, pepper, and a bit of butter or olive oil.
