Garlic Butter Steak with SautΓ©ed Mushrooms, Roasted Asparagus & Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:
For the Steak:
β’ 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
β’ Salt & pepper to taste
β’ 2 tbsp butter
β’ 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
β’ Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
For the Mushrooms:
β’ 1 cup sliced cremini or button mushrooms
β’ 1 tbsp butter
β’ 1 tbsp olive oil
β’ 1 garlic clove (minced)
β’ Salt & pepper
For the Asparagus:
β’ 1 bunch asparagus
β’ 1 tbsp olive oil
β’ Salt, pepper, and garlic powder
β’ Grated Parmesan (optional)
For the Mashed Potatoes:
β’ 3β4 Yukon Gold or red potatoes
β’ 2 tbsp butter
β’ 1/4 cup milk or cream
β’ Salt & pepper
β’ Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
β’ Boil chopped potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15β20 mins).
β’ Drain, then mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
β’ Add chopped parsley or bacon bits for extra flavor if desired.
2. Roast the Asparagus:
β’ Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
β’ Roast at 425Β°F (220Β°C) for 12β15 minutes. Sprinkle Parmesan if using.
3. SautΓ© the Mushrooms:
β’ Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet.
β’ Add garlic and mushrooms, cook until golden brown (about 7β10 mins).
β’ Season with salt and pepper.
4. Cook the Steak:
β’ Season steaks with salt and pepper.
β’ Heat a skillet to high heat; sear steaks 2β3 mins per side for medium-rare.
β’ Add butter and garlic; spoon butter over steaks while cooking.
β’ Let rest 5 mins before slicing.

Plate It Up:
Slice the steak and serve with a scoop of mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, and mushrooms on top. Drizzle any extra garlic butter from the pan over everything for an extra punch!
